Welcome to Cognition CV ("we," "us," "our"), a service provided by Maziwa LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our WhatsApp chat analysis service available at [cognition.cv] (the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cognition CV provides a privacy-focused emotional intelligence and chat analysis tool that:

  • Analyzes WhatsApp chat exports entirely within your browser

  • Generates emotional insights, personality assessments, and life timelines

  • Operates without storing or transmitting your chat data to our servers

  • Processes all data client-side using your device's computational resources

3. Privacy-First Architecture

3.1 Client-Side Processing
All analysis of your WhatsApp data occurs exclusively in your web browser. We do not receive, store, process, or have access to your chat messages, personal data, or analysis results.

3.2 Third-Party API Usage
Your browser may directly communicate with Google's Gemini API for AI processing. This communication bypasses our servers entirely. You acknowledge that such communications are subject to Google's terms and privacy policies.

3.3 No Data Retention
When you close your browser or navigate away from our Service, all uploaded data and analysis results are automatically deleted from your device's memory. We maintain no copies or backups of your data.

4. Account Registration and Payment

4.1 Account Creation

To access the Service, you must create an account through our authentication partner, Clerk. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access


4.2 Payment Terms

  • The Service requires a one-time payment processed through Stripe

  • All payments are final and non-refundable except as required by law

  • Prices are subject to change for new purchases but not for existing users

  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes


4.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase and use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

5. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

5.1 Your Data
You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to analyze any chat data you upload

  • You will not upload chats containing illegal content

  • You understand that analyzing chats involving other people should be done ethically and with consideration for their privacy


5.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service

  • Use the Service to harass, harm, or invade the privacy of others

  • Analyze chats of minors or vulnerable individuals without appropriate authority

Data Breaches Can't Touch You - When Target gets hacked, millions suffer. When Facebook leaks data, billions are exposed. When Cognition gets hacked? Nothing happens. Because we have nothing. Your data never existed on our servers.

Employee Access Impossible - Even we can't read your conversations. Our own team, our CEO, our engineers—nobody can access what was never uploaded. This isn't policy; it's physics.

Government Requests Return Empty - Subpoenas, warrants, court orders—they all receive the same response: we have no data to provide. Not won't provide. Can't provide. Your privacy is architecturally guaranteed.


6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property
The Service, including all software, design, text, images, and other content (excluding your data), is owned by Maziwa LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes.

6.2 Your Property
You retain all rights to your chat data and any insights derived from it. We claim no ownership over your data or analysis results.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 Not Medical or Therapeutic Advice
IMPORTANT: Cognition CV is not a medical device, mental health service, or therapeutic tool. The emotional insights and analyses provided are for self-reflection and personal growth only. Do not use this Service as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7.2 Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated insights may contain errors or misinterpretations. Use all insights as one perspective among many for self-understanding.


7.3 "As Is" Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

8.1 No Indirect Damages

Maziwa LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.


8.2 Cap on Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.


8.3 Essential Purpose

These limitations apply even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose and regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maziwa LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any rights of another party

  • Your uploading or analysis of chat data

10. Data Security and Browser Requirements

10.1 Browser Security
The security of your data depends on your browser's security features. We recommend:

  • Using the latest version of a modern browser

  • Ensuring your device is free from malware

  • Using the Service on trusted networks


10.2 Technical Requirements

The Service requires:

  • A modern web browser with JavaScript enabled

  • Sufficient device memory to process your chat history

  • A stable internet connection for initial page load and AI API calls

11. Modifications and Termination

11.1 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Service announcement. Your continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.


11.2 Changes to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. For significant changes affecting core functionality, we will provide reasonable notice.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice.

12. General Provisions

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.


12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Sheridan, Wyoming, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Maziwa LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
